What is Dropshipping?
Dropshipping is one of the easiest ways to start an online business without holding any inventory yourself.
Here’s the simple version:
You create an online store and sell products. When a customer places an order, you don’t ship it from your house or warehouse. Instead, you pass the order to a supplier. The supplier packs and ships the product directly to your customer. You never touch the product.
That’s it. You act as the middleman between the customer and the supplier.
How Dropshipping Works with Private Label Supplements
Private label supplements take this model one step further and make it more powerful.
Instead of selling generic products that many other stores also sell, you sell supplements under your own brand name. The manufacturer produces the vitamins, protein powders, pre-workouts, or other supplements and puts your logo and label on the bottles or packaging.
Here’s the typical flow:
- You choose or create a private label supplement formula with a manufacturer.
- You set up an online store (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.).
- A customer orders, for example, “YourBrand Vitamin D3” from your website.
- You send the order details to the private label manufacturer/supplier.
- The manufacturer ships the bottle directly to the customer with your branding on it.
- You keep the difference between the selling price and the cost you paid the manufacturer.
You don’t need to buy hundreds of bottles in advance, store them, or handle packing. The manufacturer handles production, labeling, and shipping.
How Origin Well Nutrition Makes This Easy for You
At Origin Well Nutrition, we take care of the entire backend so you can focus on growing your brand.
Here’s exactly what we do for our clients:
- If you don’t have a website yet, we build a complete WordPress site for you that is ready for dropshipping.
- If you already have a website, we add a professional e-commerce (shop) section so you can start selling private label supplements.
Once the site is ready, we install a special plugin. When a customer places an order on your website, their name, shipping address, and phone number are automatically sent to us.
We then:
- Pack the ordered private label supplements
- Ship them directly to your customer
- Handle all the logistics
You only need to enter the tracking number into the system. That tracking number is automatically shared with your customer so they can follow their package.
In short: You sell under your own brand. We handle the packaging, shipping, and order fulfillment. You stay focused on marketing and customer relationships.
